Sponsor of the Museum of Modern Art of the City of Paris
As an innovator in the field of Private Equity, IDI has always been supportive of avant-garde artists and designers. IDI has thus offered its support to the Museum of Modern Art of the City of Paris by sponsoring numerous exhibitions, including Jean-Michel Basquiat in 2010, Baselitz in 2011, L’Art en guerre, France 1938 – 1947, from Picasso to Dubuffet in 2012, Le rêve des formes, an exhibition of work by Serge Poliakoff in 2013, Les couleurs de l’abstraction, an exhibition of work by Sonia Delaunay in 2014 and, more recently, Co-Workers & Warhol Unlimited in 2015, Bernard Buffet in 2016 and the New Presentation of the Permanent Collections in 2017.
And of the Cité de la Musique – Philharmonie de Paris
For the first time in 2017, IDI offered its support to Démos (Dispositif d’Éducation Musicale et Orchestrale à vocation Sociale), a cultural democratisation project that was developed by the Philharmonie as part of its social and educational mission and is focused on orchestral music making. Démos is aimed at children who, for economic, social and cultural reasons, do not have easy access to facilities for practising music in existing institutions. It targets children aged 7 to 14 years who live in neighbourhoods covered by the "urban policy" or in rural areas that are far away from musical facilities.
